Update on Ralph Scott (Provided by John Scott)

Daddy went back to Cox South last Tuesday evening, and to ICU Thursday evening. Very difficult. He went back out on the floor yesterday afternoon, and has continued to improve. He will probably go home the end of the week or this weekend.

Update on Ralph Scott from Lisa Horner (Aug 18th)

Daddy's surgery was a triple by pass 7/30 and it went great. Recovery has been a 2 step forward 1 step back process. Not uncommon. He went home day 13 and back to the hospital day 19, yesterday (Aug 17) This was a great decision as he already feels better. Primary recovery issues have been kidney function and fluid retention which both lead to breathing issues. We expect him home again in 2-3 days and hopefully the recovery process will speed up just a little:)

I'll share your best wishes and love today. Sorry we didn't get the word out as well as we should have. Mom had difficulty getting access to her email while at the hospital and I didn't even try!! Hope all is well with you guys. Love, Lisa

A Note concerning Ralph Scott - Surgery (from Lois Vasey via Mary K)

On July 30, our cousin Ralph Scott had bypass surgery. He has been recuperating at home and is now back in the hospital in Springfield, MO where he is being "fine tuned" after a little set-back. He is progressing just fine and docs are saying he will probably go home after the weekend (Aug.22). Mary Kay has asked me to give you this info-----she's just been too busy to get a note off to you, but assures everyone that he is weak, but feeling better each day.
